Description: There looks to be a fingerprint embedded in the paint as shown. There are some light marks/spots that don't have a nice sheen. There are also dimples (imperfections) in the porcelain. Paint looks fairly even and light faded. Marking on back is in pencil. Painting is attributed to Elizabeth Hormel. Please note that may be painted by Elizabeth Hormel of the Hormel Foods Company. I purchased a few pieces and this piece is marked Painted by Elizabeth Hormel of "A Lea College" which probably stands for Albert Lea College which is where Elizabeth "lizzie" taught. Please see link:https://www.austindailyherald.com/2021/02/holly-johnson-lizzie-hormel-full-of-ambition/Please understand that there is no other providence beyond my own research and compilation of items found at sale. Please understand that this may not have been E.H. of the Hormel Company Family.
