Description: Offered is an Antique Hand Hewn Wooden Dough Bowl/Trencher 21". This large 19th c dough bowl/trencher has been hand hewn from a single piece of wood possibly maple. It is pretty heavy. It shows beautiful grain with lots of character and great patina. It is in relatively good condition given its age and obvious use. There is an old repair on the top corner edge on one end that looks like they may have used a resin substance. This rectangular bowl measures 21” x 11 1/2” x 4 1/2”.
