Description: Art Deco designed boxed bakelite chess set by Grays of Cambridge circa 1930. The chess pieces presented as two dimensional silhouettes on round discs, one side honey color the other side in black. A complete set 32, king height 2 3/4 inch very good condition with makers stamped wood slide top storage box. Includes a bakelite St. George Series combination chess and draughts counters. One side marked as chess pieces and the reverse plain draughts/checkers.
