Description: A lovely grand tour gouache and watercolor miniature painting on paper of a cityscape with early half timber buildings, 19th century and signed indistinctly. Given the half timber architecture, the painting was most likely done by a German or French artist where that building typology is prevalent. Painting is housed in a gilt metal frame. Painting is good condition overall with light wear to surface, some toning, a couple bites at edges of paper, etc. Frame is good condition for age with finish patina/wear. Please see photos for condition. Approximately 4.5” x 3.25” framed Ships well packed and fully insured
