Description: This delicate leather Georgian stud case is small and very detailed. The exterior is a dark brown leather with black around the opening. There is a thin line of gold painted around the top and the hardware (hinge, latch) is also gold-toned. The bottom of the case is worn from time and use. The interior of the case is lined with a dark blue/purple velvet on the bottom with one cutout layer on top of another layer. The middle rectangle on the left has been pulled away from the base a little bit but still sits flat like the rest. The blue silk in the lid is in good condition overall but has some colour fading around the edges (more than I could capture in pictures). In gold letters, the following is printed on the silk: "A.D. FAULKNER // JEWELLER. &c. // 174, HIGH STREET // NOTTING HILL W." Please look carefully at the pictures to see the condition of the case. The hinge and latch work perfectly, and the two halves of the case are perfectly aligned. There are no major marks or gouges, but there are many tiny ones.
