Description: Antique G D & Cie Limoges Art Nouveau Style Plate. This stunning plate was made by G. Demartine & Cie and is over 100 years old. The company was in business in Limoges from 1884 to 1906.The shape is beautifully sculpted with lovely hand painted blue flowers. The delicate floral pattern covers the pinky peach blush over white glazed body. There is a slight relief inside of the plate, reminiscent of a shell design. Scalloped edge with brushed gilt.Back stamp is G. D. & Cie Limoges France.In excellent condition, no damage, has small area with rubbing glaze as would be expected on a piece of this age.Measures: from 8-1/4" to 8-1/2".Please see all photos as a part of the description.#L
