Description: Gorgeous early 1900's French tree of life Indienne cotton in a phenomenal time softened palette of lavender, red and very very pale green. Patterns like this are a personal favorite. This one is aged to perfection with it's mellow old hues. This is a mid density cotton which would be perfect for an abundance of home projects (pillows, windows, small upholstery etc.. ) as well as used creatively in small projects, covered journals etc.. Bags/totes (if lined) are also a great option. It has tremendous graphic appeal so would be neat somehow farmed or stretched over wooden stretchers as it is a delightful piece of textole art of it's time with much graphic appeal. Lends itself well to shabby French settings as well as Bohemian etc.. Condition is good and strong ~ again it is time softened which is outstanding on this. I would call the patina more aged. I have not laundered this piece as everyone's appeal is different so will leave that up to you and your preference. may have a tiny age spot or tiny fiber/pull break simply due to time, storage etc..though overall, fabulous. Measures 26 inches by 18 inches tall (a half yard)~ I can keep as many as a quantity of "4" in one uncut length~ so up to 2 yards can be sept uncut. One would make a lovey pillow, several will give you a larger visual of the tree of life patterns elements. Many thanks! ?
