On a stormy night, a young mother prays over her sleeping, possibly very sick, child. Lightning crashes outside the rough cottage. An open fire burning at the lower right provides meager heat. Mother holds a necklace with a cross in her clasped hands as she gazes at her child. Heaven hears her prayer, and through the open window a pair of angels arrive to whisper words of comfort. ------- Condition. Trimmed. Some wear at the edges. Some foxing. Otherwise good. Around 170 years old. Carefully packed for shipment to the buyer.
