Description: This is an Antique English 9 CT Gold Two Stud Boxed Set. This is a beautiful set in the original period box that may or may not be original to the set, but it seems likely that it is. The faces of the shirt studs are 6 MM in diameter. The set together weighs 1.06 grams as seen on our jewelry scale. The photos are closeups; the size relative to a US dime is shown in one of the photos. The studs are marked but not hallmarked. We have purchased a number of British Victorian and Edwardian gold pieces, particularly in 9 CT that were not hallmarked. The jeweler's information inside the lid is for a London jeweler, James Walker, Ltd, Brixton Road, London. Based on the appearance of the set and the box, I think the studs are likely Victorian or Edwardian, but we do not know the age for sure. The studs are marked "9 CT" near an edge, and the maker's mark, also near an edge, is "EAP" in an oval. Condition: Studs The studs are in very good pre-owned condition. This is a great looking set and we will guarantee your satisfaction with the set. Box The box has several condition issues to be noted: The covering on the box appears to be paper with a marbleized brown and black pattern.
