Description: Offered from a local NJ estate is an antique (c1880) Cologne or Scent BottleMade in Birmingham, England by John Grinsell & Son, see hallmarksThe lid slides over nibs and turns to close but this would have had a cork attached to inside of the cap at one timeand that is goneThe bottle which is about 3 1/4" across is covered with diamond cut design all around sides and starburst cut bottomThere are MANY small nicks on the points of the diamonds, no cracks or big chips, but this has had a bit of rough handlingThere is some soil inside, looks like it would clean up with some care, does not look like staining and no odor or perfume residueLid has no major dents or dings but a few small nicks, it is over 140 years old~ Great scent bottle 4" tall ALWAYS SAME OR NEXT DAY SHIPPING!!!
