Description: Gorgeous early 120th century neoclassical style sterling silver bud vase with a weight base.Has hallmark for maker D. S. Spaulding, 1896-1917, Mansfield, Massachusetts.This mark is above "STERLING CEMENT FILLED REINFORED" on the weighted bottom.Measures 8" tall.The stacked base and upper rim have a fine feather pattern.This upper rim is slightly out-of-round, a little dented on one edge.The stem and base have just the very tiniest signs of age and use, and no engraving.I cleaned quickly and has really beautiful patina! Stands straight, no bends or wobble.
