Description: CONDITION: Excellent, does not have glass chimney. This glass oil lamp was produced in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by the United States Glass Company between 1891 and 1902. It is identified with the inventory number .9876. The metal fittings were produced by the Banner Manufacturing Company in Waterbury, Connecticut. The lamp measures 11 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 5 5/8 inches. The lamp has a bulbous reservoir to hold the lamp oil connected to a graceful trunk, ending in a scalloped rim. The glass is molded with a pattern of peacock feathers, readily recognizable. The antique glass has mold marks, bubbles and straw marks, all verifying its authenticity.
