Description: Original Antique Door Knob and Matching Back Plate from 1892. This knob and plate were manufactured by Corbin. Design by architect Henry Ives Cobb for the University of Chicago Illinois. Blumin identification is H-40100. Knob is a passage size knob. Both pieces are made of brass or bronze (magnet does not stick). Pieces are in nice condition with no dents or major damage. Minor imperfections and signs of use. Please see pictures.
