Description: Antique Cast Iron Wall Hanger Mystery Item. Hangs on the wall but does not open. It's open all the way through like for a cane or parasol. Back of this cast iron mystery has the initials N.B. & I.W. and the numbers 3011. National Brass and Iron Works was a company that manufactured lamps, frames and machinery beginning in 1882. It had lost most of the gold paint so it has been repainted the same color. Great Victorian item. The actual color is closest in the first few photos.
