Description: Up for sale is one cast iron Griswold Tite Top Dutch Oven no lid. The Dutch Oven is clearly marked “Tite Top Dutch Oven” with an “8” and “Griswold” is in the bottom center, and then in equally clear lettering “Erie PA, USA 833” See pics for all the very clear markings. The Dutch Oven has a sturdy bail for carrying and a protrusion in the upper rim to hold for pouring. This piece has been cleaned up and has been re-seasoned with 2 coatings of canola oil at 400 degrees for 1 hour each. It is in very clean, feels quite smooth to the touch and sits flat on the counter (no wobble). There is no lid. Measurements: · Bottom diameter approx. 9 inches · Top diameter inside appox 10 inches · Inside depth approx. 4 inches Condition: This iron Dutch Oven is very clean and is in nice condition. Even though there is some pitting on the inside bottom, that area is not real rough and feels relatively smooth as one runs fingers over it.
