Description: This antique clown bank is the real deal. You can tell just by picking it up that it is real cast iron. The cast iron they used to make stuff out of, not the cheaper lighter metals they use nowadays. In good mechanical condition. Put a coin in his hand, push down on the lever in the back, and he flips the coin right into his mouth. Gotta push the lever kind of hard but only because his hand is so heavy. You can see by the bottom of the bank that it is authentic. Great piece of toy history. Not sure of the age but my guess would be 1900 to 1920? Not sure though, an expert could make a more educated guess I'm sure. Due to its age, there is some rust and corrosion, as can be seen in the pics. This thing is heavy for its size.
