There are two cartouches, they are engraved with the monograms MRB and MKYThe underside bears the Tiffany & Company J.C. Moore maker's mark used between 1848 and 1852. This piece is guaranteed to be coin purity silver, which is a purity of 900. The basket is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age and the designs are crisp. The basket measures 6 by 4 1/4 inches. The pedestal bowl portion measures 4 1/4 inches tall and the whole piece measures 6 1/2 inches tall with the handle upright.
