Hand-made by Hoehr, Germany Front depicts the Brothers Grimm fairy tale and words “Die Sieben Schwaben! Jockele, gang du voran, Du hast ja Sporn and Stiefel An!” (translation: The Seven Swabians! Jockele, go ahead, you have spurs and boots on!). The term Swabians refers to people from the German region Swabia, although in Switzerland, it refers to Germans in general. This is a tale of men exhibiting cowardice and stupidity as they carry around a shared spear.
