Description: Tatler bound volume dating 1709-1710.This is an antique book dated 1876.Also contains issue of the Guardian for 1713.One picture of Sir Richard Steele,with original protecting tissue paper intact.Original price in pen inner front page 1 shilling.Why a bound volume of the Tatler were being issued in 1876,for issues some 150 years earlier.I have no idea.The Guardian section has nothing to do with today's newspaper that I am aware of.Over 700 pages.24 x 16 cm approx.Well bound and quite good condition.Some foxing front and back pages.Some movement on spine front & back boards.Covers have minor wear & rubbing,but are still good.Gold leaf additions to the spine.Interesting volume featuring issues of the Tatler from over 300 years ago.Please be aware I have to rely on courier collection.He does not always on the day he is booked for.Thank you for your patience.
