Description: This listing is for an antique doll recently purchased from a local estate sale. She is a Simon and Halbig doll mold #1079 with her original ball jointed composition body. Her socket style bisque head has paperweight brown glass sleep eyes and she has an open mouth with small teeth. Her ears are pierced and she has her original human hair wig. Her dress is plaid cotton with lace trim and she has cotton panties with lace trim. She stands approx. 22" tall. She is marked "S & H 1079-9 Germany" on the back of her head. Condition: Her original wig is thin and damaged. Her clothes are not original to the doll---the dress is slightly too large and it is stained and torn in several places.
