It is made of a homespun woven flax linen fabric completely covered with a colorful counted stitch hand embroidery work of traditional Romanian decorative geometric floral designs. This Romanian Baltic beautifully embroidered needlework textile cloth would have been part of a peasant blouse perhaps a sleeve, with a pink and orange crochet lace trim seam down the middle and is unlined. The trim measures 22 inches long and is 17 inches wide. It is in good as-is condition with several areas of worn missing embroidery stitching (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful one of a kind piece of Baltic Romanian embroidery work textile folk art!
