The painting with bold color is in excellent condition with the slightest undulation to the paper. Signed C.A. Aiken bottom left. Written in pencil on verso Charles Avery Aiken 1929. Verso paper appears to be original untouched and completely intact. Born in Vermont Charles studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He had studios in NYC and Wellesley, Mass.
