Description: Very nice antique 1850's art nouveau coffee service for 2. Includes pot, lid, 2 plates, 2 saucers and 2 coffee cups. Founded in 1763 in Berlin, the founder purchased the factory that became KPM because of the high quality of the porcelain at that particular foundry. This set has a beautiful art nouveau design, popular at the time. There is wear to the gold paint, appropriate for age and use. No chips or cracks to the porcelain. Cups measure 3" T, saucers are 5.5" and plates are 7". Beautiful, unique set!
