Description: Antique Armand Marseille 370 7/0 Doll in wooden child’s trunk. The 14’ doll has a bisque shoulder head and hands, blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, blonde human hair wig, and a kid leather body. She was made in Germany around 1900. She has jointed shoulders, hips and knees and wears her original cream colored dress, undergarments socks and shoes. Her kid body was at one point skillfully covered in a cotton knit fabric. Possibly to protect the leather. She comes with her antique 16”x 10” x 9 1/2” wood and lithographed metal child’s trunk that also includes two dresses that were most likely handmade for her in the 1920s. The doll and her outfit are in wonderful antique condition. They show light age and use appropriate wear but no major flaws. The trunk is in fair condition, it is still fairly sturdy but especially the lid should be handled with care. The two additional dresses are quite fragile.
