Description: This beautiful set includes a basin, a pitcher, a commode, a soap dish and a toothbrush box. It is not marked on the bottom with the exception of 2182 on the soap dish and toothbrush box. The paint and gold gilt is in excellent condition for its age, which I was told was at least 150 years old. There’s a bit of wear to the background blue color but mainly under the lids of the commode, soap dish and toothbrush box. Please look carefully at the photos. Some light reflection from the flash looks like wear at first glance, but if you zoom in you can see it’s not. There are no cracks, chips, scratches or repairs. The basin is 3 feet in diameter. The pitcher is 2 feet tall. The commode is 14” in diameter. The soap dish is 9” in diameter and the toothbrush box is 7” long by 2” wide. The basin weighs 7 pounds, the pitcher 9 and the entire set weighs 25 pounds. I was told the insurance replacement value is $1,500. There are not many intact sets in such great condition.
