Description: This great late 19th c. slip cast bisque figurine of a was probably made in the US but might be German. It was made to be a prize offered at a fair. I am not certain of the breed of the dog but it might be a border collie or bull terrier. It is 2 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" wide x 1" deep. I believe it dates to c. 1895. The dog is hand painted and is yellowish in color with black ears, tail and muzzle. it is in great undamaged condition. Stock Number SA2D-192
