Description: Beautiful cobalt blue decorated jug out of Cortland, New York with an impressed asterisk above decoration. Likely an early piece by Madison Woodruff and Romanzo Smith. Missing handle, but that can be repaired fairly easily. Other than the handle, it is in excellent condition with no other issues. What appears to be a crack on the bottom, is just a "line", not a crack. Approx 10.75" tall with a base diameter is approx 7".
