Up for sale is this gorgeous Large RARE ANTIQUE INCENSE BURNER FROM JAPAN !! Its got some type of protective wolf, dog, dragon on top and then on the sides several panels of variaous intriguing scenes in high relief. It measures apx 4 5/8" high x 4 1/8" wide. It weighs apx 546.4 grams = 19.27oz Note on image #7 - (the bottom view)- in this pic the light is washed out which makes it look lighter than it is- use the other pics for proper color etc... The burner is vintage for sure.. I dont know the exact age of it.. could be anywhere.. possibly even before the late 1860s meiji period when the samurai lost their power and all the amazing metal artisans switched from making swords and armor to useful and decorative items like this.
