This piece is in excellent condition and believed to date to the late 1800's. The carving is wonderful and the patina is terrific. The victorian swirl motif shows wonderful detail. The overall measurements are 15.75" long and 7" wide. There is a flower motif carved on the back including the owner's name whom this was made for long ago. The name is in Hungarian.
