The picture is outlined with a border of thorns and is presented in its original wood and Gesso ornate frame. Gesso is a type of plaster from finely ground chalk. After drying the craftsmen could cut into the surface to create their design. The original glass is intact without chips or cracks. Measurements: 29 1/2" inches high x 25 3/4" inches wide Poor to Fair Condition.The frame is in really bad shape as parts of the Gesso have chipped, cracked or peeled off. Continues to fall off with touching. Will shrink wrap.(AS SHOWN IN PICTURES). We believe this item to have been stored for a very long time.
