Turkish Ottoman Islamic embroidered velvet child’s shoes with pointed toes. Crimson silk velvet upper, finely hand embroidered with gold metallic thread and bullion with elaborate floral designs - typical Ottoman Dival embroidery and decorated on the center with star embroidered by white seed glass beads. Interior lined with fine silk fabric. The edges of the top are trimmed with metal mesh ribbon, pointed toes adorned with navy blue and burgundy color woolen tufts Each leather sole is stamped with the number 2 (for European buyers). MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 15 cm (5.91 inches). CONDITION: Showing age and use, velvet upper and the silk lining worn, the metallic thread with dark oxidation/patina, as an aspect of an antique over 100 years old shoes.
