Description: This antique bronze clad bookend pair is unmarked. My research turned up results of this same form from both Pompeian Bronze and Galvano. Either way, they are certainly antique originals. Each one is a little under 7" long including the tail, 6" tall, and 3.5" wide ears. They weigh about 6 lbs. together. One is missing a tusk. Both have minor signs of wear/use that you would expect from old bookends, and both have exposed cracks in the bronze clad in the same spot on an inside leg. Both have what look like homemade leather bases, glued on years ago. One is half off and the other is starting to come off.
