Description: Incredibly detailed antique “ Titanic” dress. Slip in core dress in black silk (strong, in wearable condition) gown with overdress electric blue/ black mesh. The mesh covers the front with ruffle on both side and and finished accent bow on one side. Shoulders are slip into the mesh as sleeves. Bone in corset on the waist, with under mesh in pale pink, blue and black colors. Flat net strap embellished with tiny sequins and beads pattern. The corset closes in the back with hook first, then eye closure. Some part of the mesh has been properly restored but isnt visible to the eye as it is covered by the dress tulle ruffle. Overall, the condition is very good for its age and absolutely wearable. The silk is strong and doesn’t show any sign of decaying or rot. The mesh over is in good condition as well but keep in mind that a spot or 2 have been professionally restored. Hook are clean and don’t show any sign of rust.
