Description: I have for sale an antique cast iron balancing hanger. I am not sure if this is perhaps a piece of an old scale? Date: 18th / Early 19th Century Overall, the hanger is in good condition. There does appear to be a maker's mark on the one side and the other side either has a V or the roman numeral 5. You can see the maker's mark in the (15th) photo above and the "V" in the (17th) photo. Size: 18 1/4" (Approx.
