Anthony Carter's book German Knife and Sword Makers the etched logo on this knife was produced in 1895. The knife is in excellent shiny, must have been stored conditon. The leather and metal sheath does show wear and the seam on one side has come undone, please see photo's. The handle is firmly attached with no cracks or chips, the material of the handle is unknown.
