Description: This is a Pair of Rare Antique Heath & Middleton (JTH - JHM - John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton) Sterling Silver, Gold Wash, Seal Top Soup Spoons. These Spoons are marked with the Heath & Middleton mark, "JTH JHM", which was registered in 1887. The maker's mark is follwed an "Anchor" for where these Spoons were made in Birmingham, England, an "r" the year code for 1891, and a "Lion" which is the English mark for sterling silver. These Spoons are in Excellent condition including the Gold Wash finish. These Spoons come with the original presentation display box. The Box is Very Good condition with some mild signs of age and handling. The Spoons are 6 5/8" long by 1 3/4" wide. The spoons weigh about 1.5 OZ each. Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge. Some wear is to be expected, unless described as flawless or mint. I cannot know everything about every item I offer, I do inspect each item and list all known flaws or damage.
