Description: This is an antique sterling silver Swiss movement pocket watch. The watch is from about 1875 to 1880, and is key winding. The front of the watch has a white face, Roman numerals, and detailed hands. The back features a landscape of antique buildings, hills, and flowers. The watch is on a gold tone metal chain, and comes with a key. The chain measures 24 inches long, and is doubled. The diameter of the face of the watch in the case is 1 7/16 inches. I had the watch professionally cleaned by John at the Montana Clock Shop in Santa Monica. It runs on time. The watch opens when you push down on the crown. It says, "Cylindre 4 Rubis N 23656" inside the case by the holes for winding the watch. There are other numbers in the other side, and the initials, F.C. The other side opens with the push of a button so you can see the inside gears and workings. The pocket watch will be insured for shipping. Thanks for looking!
