Description: Wonderful old 1800s prints. Fabrics are super crisp~don't think this one was ever used or washed much!! NINE PATCH On Point handmade quilt w/wide patchwork border. All cotton fabrics. What a wonderful mix of period cotton fabrics! Dates around 1860-70s. Measures 78 x 86 Quilt is very nicely and neatly made! All cotton fabrics. Hand pieced and hand quilted. 6-7spi. Separate binding hand stitched in place. Backing is an unbleached cotton sheeting. Thinner batting so it displays beautifully! I have not cleaned or treated this quilt. No color fading. Has a few small and minor age/use dots. BUT, some of the browns are splitting or completely frayed from age and storage. So much is still good!! I don't see any of the other fabrics that are fraying.
