The superb handcoloring is period to the map. This is from the extremely rare 1866 Clarke's Geography. There is text on reverse of the page, but you cant see it looking at the map as the paper is too thick. There is a very light stain at bottom hand side, not that bad at all, if framed most could be covered. The size of the map is 10.5" by 13". Rare map.
