Antique 1820 American Folk Art Schoolgirl Needlework Sampler 2

Description: Click photos for larger image! Description & Condition: Up for sale is this antique unidentified circa 1820 American folk art school girl needlework sampler. It is silk on linen and depicts the alphabet in capitol letters twice at the top followed by the numbers 1 through 0 and several rows of capitol letters along the bottom. It measures 18" by 9 1/2" framed. It is in good condition with a few minor stitch loss. According to information on the reverse this sampler has no "J " which dates it before 1825.
