Such publication was nine years before the Pioneer Book Club movement in 1926, but at that time there were different conventions defining repeat printings of popular books. This copy does not have the hardback cover art of true first editions, but it is definitely an early copy. The book is in very good condition, but there is a tear along the bottom half of the spine, so this item is being sold at a lower price than some other copies of the same early printing. It is readable, and its interior contents are in remarkably well-preserved condition. It is definitely collectible, and a true vintage item.
