Not only is Drew Baca still here for this album, making him the first Angelica vocalist to last beyond one studio release, but the overall commercial-sounding melodic hard rock is tweaked a bit,with the inclusion of a much funkier bass sound that’s a bit more prominent in the production. There are also a few more ballad-and-acoustic songs to rock / hard rock ratio, making the need for a quick Skip Button Finger a bit more prominent, depending on how you view ballads and acoustic stuff in general. I guess you can call Time Is All It Takes Angelica’s most commercial sounding rock album to date. It certainly isn’t a terrible album by any means, but at the same time it gets the fewest plays when I’m in the mood for that melodic hard rock from the era. Never been one to go for the ballads, especially on Christian metal releases.
