Description: This is a used Anet ET4 base. It's compatible with Anet ET4, ET4 Pro, and ET4X models.What you see in the pics is what you get. This listing is for the base, the base cover, and the 6 screws to hold the cover on. None of the screw holes are stripped out. It's in great condition however it has been modified with three 16mm holes drilled in the front for lighting power switches and a momentary switch for the motherboards unused "firmware reset" header (P2.) If the printer is crashing, flipping the power switch on the side does not stop it right away because the power supply holds a charge for a few seconds after its power source is cut. A firmware reset is like an emergency stop that provides an instant stop to its movement and activity. Anet put a button (P1) and a header (P2) on the board for firmware reset. The button (P1) is very inaccessible when you're running the printer and they failed to install a switch on P2 for it externally. This is an easy drop in because the hole is already made and it's a very nice feature to have, especially if you run Anet's firmware. (Marlin is definitely better on these printers!!) This sale does not come with the switches. The one pic with the switches is only to show why this base has holes in it.This base will come well packed with the pictured bubble sleeve and cardboard on the top and bottom to prevent damage in shipping. More bubble wrap than what is shown will be added so it doesn't bounce around in the box during shipping.. This would make a GREAT PURCHASE if you're looking at a printer with a damaged base like this one.
