The Smithsonian American Art Museum, the National Gallery of Women in the Arts, the National Museum of American History, and the Library of Congress are among the collections that include many of these prints. Pamela Wedd Brown (1928-2023) was born in France and studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and the Academie Julian in Paris. After moving to Washington, D.C. in the 1960s, she became a founding member of the Washington Printmakers Gallery and belonged to the Art Barn, the Torpedo Factory, the Washington Water Color Association, the Studio Gallery, and other arts organizations. Her artwork is included in the collections of the Library of Congress, The National Museum of American History, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Pushkin Museum, Christopher Newport College, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and private collections around the world.
