Description: Fresh from a Fayetteville, Arkansas estate is this handkerchief or glove box with a silver-plated lid. The silver plating is not marked. The heavy box has a flower cut on the top of the lid and the four corners have Harvard cane. The box weighs over 3 pounds. The lower portion of the box has Harvard cane in 4 triangles circling the box. The box measures 11" long and is 3.5" tall. The plating is in near fine condition and the hinges work perfectly----one of the nicest glove boxes I have seen---although I found a 'small chigger' on a swirl in the lower portion---obvious only if looking for it. The bottom shows appropriate wear for a 100-year-old box. The glove box will be bubble wrapped and boxed securely for shipping. I offer combined shipping when possible.
