Description: Alvarez Yairi DY-77 vintage guitar Herringbone made in Japan by Kazou Yairi 1980s handcrafted with high grade rosewood and spruce with beautiful original hard case & key included . This is a beautiful Alvarez Yairi DY-77 handmade by master luthier Yairi, possibly 1980s . It Projects a beautiful loud rich balanced tone very well balanced with rich sounding chords when strummed and played , this guitar is in good condition with signs of scratching, dings , scuffs on the top throughout but with lots of character , no cracks , no structural damage , these minor surface scratches on the front and back are mostly from normal play-wear , excellent fret board , excellent frets with plenty of life left , nice action , plays smooth , no structural damage , straight neck , flat firm bridge , no bellying , bone nut and saddle , original vintage grover tuners . New set of strings , great string action , no buzzing , plays like a dream , most will agree this sounds even better than what it actually copied at the time (Martin D28 herringbone). This guitar is also upgraded with LR Baggs ibeam under the bridge projecting a natural amplified sound when plugged into the amplifier. Guitar features : Solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, grover tuners, Flamed Maple binding, Ebony fingerboard, Herringbone trim around the body and rosette, Mother of pearl snowflake position markers, faux tortoise shell pick guard, Ebony bridge,"C-shaped Mahogany neck. The nut is 1" 11/16" wide and a 25.4 scale length. Comes with beautiful original Alvarez hard case in excellent condition with original key included.
