A hybrid of two tree-form aloe, Aloe barberae and Aloe dichotoma, ‘Hercules’ has clusters of triangular, grey-green leaves branching from a vigorous grey trunk. In the spring, pink-salmon flowers start to bloom, and then re-bloom on and off through summer and fall. Cold hardy to 20° F, this tree aloe wants little water and full sun. Reserve some space in the landscape for ‘Hercules,’ as this fast-growing tree will grow 25-40’ tall and 15-20’ wide.Use this demigod of a tree aloe in desert, sculpture, and succulent gardens.
