Description: This posting is for a live rare Spiral Aloe plant - botanical name Aloe Polyphylla endangered in its native growing range of Southern Africa. It is fully rooted in a 4inch starter pot and ready to be replanted into a larger container. This is the smallest size I’ll ever have available of these plants and I only have a couple of them available in this size currently, it is 4inches tall and about 7inches wide. They are slow growing but will eventually reach 2ft tall x 3ft wide like the last photo provided, which is for example & display purposes only. The listing is of the first 3 photos. Since the plant is so young it will be shipped in its 4inch pot to maintain optimal health, the plant will be perfectly fine as long as it is replanted in proper well draining soil or cactus mix. When these plants are young they do not like being over watered or watered from the top directly into their young developing spiral, do not do this as it may rot the core of the plant. Also please keep in mind that when they are young they will NOT have a visible spiral yet, the plant has to have I minimum of 50 - 75 leaves before it begins to show a visible spiral and that can take 2 - 3 years depending on how well it’s doing. Once they are established they are long lived, gorgeous, extremely hardy to drought frost and deer.
