Like all supplementary materials in this course, this Recital Book is coordinated page by page with the Lesson Book. The instructions in the upper right corner of the first page of each piece indicate precisely when each piece should be assigned. Under no circumstances should a piece be used sooner than these references indicate, so as to avoid the student's encountering ideas or concepts that have not yet been introduced in the lesson material.
