Description: A high quality Art Deco-period wine list from leading French wine merchants Nicolas (founded in 1822), featuring all of the top French wines one would expect to see from this time. This was the first list (of what became a 30-year collaboration) from Nicolas to feature the artwork of leading French artist, designer and engraver Alfred Latour (1888 - 1964). 'Établissements Nicolas Liste des Grands Vins fins 1934 ' published in Paris, 1st edition thus, spiral bound with card covers, 30 pages, text in French, all front cover, inner artwork and decoration by Alfred Latour. Internally in near very good condition, quite a bright example, no inscriptions, some very light signs of reading wear, spotting/marks to endpapers and title page, a few occasional spots within. Externally in at least good+ condition, some general wear at edges and corners, some spotting marks to the outer covers, small tear at front lower edge, curved pencil/crayon line to front cover. Estimated non-UK postage costs by signed for airmail delivery - Europe £12, Canada/Japan £16, Aus/NZ £19, US £21. Additional books can always be added to a combined order for an additional postage cost based on extra 0.25kg bands of weight, with an extra postage cost per extra 0.25kg of £1.20 for Europe / £2.00 everywhere else - please contact if any questions. I am more than happy to post overseas on the basis that all items will be posted by Airmail with a signature required on delivery.
